Coronavirus / COVID-19 Statement

A MESSAGE FROM ANDREW & NICOLA

To all our guests and friends

We know it has been a difficult time for everyone over the past few months, but we hope you have all been keeping well and have managed to stay safe during these testing times.

We have all had to handle many challenges and are now dealing with a new ‘normal’ way of life in lots of ways.

Along with the rest of the hospitality industry, we were devastated to have to close our doors back in March following the Government guidelines but the health and safety of our guests and team has always been our number one priority.

We were extremely hopeful that we would be able to open before the summer months and following the announcement from the Government we are delighted our doors will be open again from Saturday 4th July for room bookings and limited dining.

We are so excited to welcome you back and show you the improvements we have been working hard on during this time. We have put many measures in place to ensure we are strictly following all government guidelines whilst still keeping the relaxed, luxury and welcoming feeling that all the Bartle Hall family pride themselves on.

Finally, a big thank you for all the amazing messages of support we have received over recent weeks – it has been heartwarming to know we have such amazing guests, friends, suppliers and team behind us. This motivates us even more to strive forward in making Bartle Hall bigger and better than ever before!

Andrew & Nicola Haworth

When can I come and stay?

Bookings are now being taken from Saturday 4th July onwards.

Can I dine with you?

From Saturday 4th July, you will be able to join us for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our Afternoon Teas will be available on selected days only. Availability will however be limited due to the safe social distancing measures that must be in place.

It is essential that you book in advance for any of the dining options for us to ensure the safety of all guests and team members.

What if I need to cancel?

Booking directly with us is the best way to ensure that amending or cancelling your booking will be as straightforward as possible.

If booking on a B&B basis, you will have until 10am on the day prior to your stay to cancel your booking with no charge.

If booking any of our special packages where a deposit will be taken, your stay dates can be changed up to 7 days prior to your arrival and re-booked for up to 6 months in advance. Should there be any further outbreaks of COVID-19, the 7 day amendment is waivered and you can change your stay with us with no charge.

If booking through a third-party booking provider, their cancellation terms and conditions will vary.

Will my stay be the same?

Although some elements of your stay may look slightly different and extra safety measures will be clearly visible, we have worked hard so that the relaxed, luxury and welcoming feel which our guests have come to expect remains the same.

Some of the extra measures you can expect to see include:

  • Quicker check-in / check-out procedures with less in person contact
  • Facemasks available for any guests wishing to use them
  • Contactless hand sanitizer dispensers available
  • One-way walking system to toilets and other restricted space areas
  • Contactless payments where possible
  • Increased cleaning procedures

Despite these small changes, and given the extensive space we have at Bartle Hall and our 16 acres of beautiful grounds – we are confident all guidelines can be easily adhered to and will have no impact on the service or experience our guests receive when visiting. We ask all guests to please adopt a commonsense approach to social distancing during your stay with us and when moving around the hotel for the safety of yourself, other guests and our team. We will be asking them to do the same for you.

Information correct as of 31.07.20 and will be updated regularly in line with Government guidelines.
